Tour of the Kingdom

For 2019, Dunfermline Cycling Club is proud to once again be hosting our annual cycle sportive on Saturday the 25th of May, the Tour of the Kingdom.

Taking place on some of the finest roads and views in Fife, it is an event not to be missed!

There are some fantastic changes this year including the new startline and HQ located at The Cycle Hub within the beautiful Pittencrieff Park (known locally as The Glen). 

We offer three routes varying from 33, 70 and 103 miles, so you are sure to find a route to suit, regardless of your ability.

This year also sees a completely new Green Route which follows the first section of the Red and Black routes taking in stunning views before returning back towards Dunfermline.

Our sportive also offers the following features:

• Electronic time keeping.
• Refreshment Stations - Stay hydrated and fed along your route with our free refreshment stops on the ride.
• Event Photography - Our event will be covered by a photographer to capture your day.
• Free memento -  Every rider will receive a one off custom designed  water bottle after completing the sportive.

This year we will also be running the Sportive in memory of Club Member Gary Conner who passed away suddenly just before the turn of the year. We welcome Gary's family and friends to the ride who will be fundraising for Queen Margaret Hospice. Dunfermline Cycling Club will also be making a donation of this years proceeds to their chosen charity, so your entry fee will make a difference to their cause. Thank you.
