KCC Chairman's Good Friday Sportive

Now in its fourth year, the KCC backed Good Friday Sportive is the first in a series of events organised by Cyclopark, Kent’s premier cycling facility. With a choice of two distances, this sportive is the perfect way to start your Easter weekend either for yourself or something for the full family.

This year the popular has been back by KCC, looking to combine a successful sportive and incorporating something for all the family to promote popular tourist destinations around Kent. With this in mind, it has been agreed that all children wanting to ride the family ride route will be allowed to do so completely free of charge as long as they are accompanied by at least one adult!

 We are wanting to make sure that this is a fun filled day, it's not about who comes first or who comes last it is about getting to know those over riders around you that might be struggling up that specific hill around half way in and finishing the event knowing that you've had a good time and maybe even made the odd friend or two by the end of it, who knows!?

After a warm up lap of the Cyclopark circuit, our route heads into the quiet lanes of the surrounding Kent countryside and offers up a challenge to both experienced and recreational riders who can expect some testing climbs, fast flats and exhilarating descents! Along with some breathetaking views of what the countryside in Kent can offer in amongst all the trees. 

Once you have finished the event, there will be a celebration to enjoy back here at Cyclopark where each participant will be treated like a winner and rewarded for getting themselves out there!
