Tour of the Dengie Sportive

Welcome to the Tour of the Dengie Fun Ride & Cyclosportive

The Cycle takes place on Sunday 11th May 2014 at Bradwell Marina, Bradwell Waterside, Essex, England. There are two cycle options which run alongside the Big East Triathlon.

• 43km Fun Ride (1 lap of cycle course)
• 82km Cyclosportive (2 laps of cycle course)

Facilities include chip timing, fully sign posted and marshaled course, aid stations allowing personal supplies, mechanic on site, on course support, sag wagon and refreshments on site. After you have finished why not enjoy some food and a drink and whilst watching the triathletes on the run course!

The Tour of the Dengie starts at 09:45 and registration is from 08:30 on Sunday 11th May at Bradwell Marina. Here you will receive your numbers and timing chip.

You will pass through small towns and villages with traditional weatherboard homes, negotiate the Burnham Bends and experience a unique and varied course over the marshes. This is also a great opportunity to see what a triathlon is all about in a relaxed atmosphere while enjoying a days cycling in the peaceful Essex countryside.
