The Peaks Tour cycling event takes riders on an adventure through the Peak District National Park. All three routes start at Bakewell Showground and head north through the National Park making their way to the Hope Valley.

In true Peak District fashion, there is plenty of both - short, savage as well as long, enduring climbs on all the routes. But don’t be discouraged, you’ll be rewarded with spectacular views at the top and long winding descents on the way down.

On the Long Route you'll hit the high point at Whetstone Ridge, but with other climbs including Mam Tor, Gun and Sir William's Hill along the way, you'll feel all 2613m of ascent in your legs by the end.

Whilst this will certainly be a challenge, you won’t want to miss out on the chance to ride this event through the Peak District, which is set to be a glorious day of riding.

Of course, you’ll be rewarded for all your efforts as you cross the finish line to receive a finishers medal, beer from Freedom Brewery and other goodies from our partners at Jimmy’s Iced Coffee and OTE sports. We look forward to seeing you on the start line in Bakewell in September.

Our Tour Series events are designed to give you the chance to ride in some of the most beautiful parts of the UK and challenge yourself to distances you wouldn’t do every weekend.
