Entries have opened for the 2026 Hell of the Ashdown sportive.

The hill-packed early season sportive has always been popular, but recent years have seen it sell out within 24 hours of entries going on sale.

The 102km route has just over 1750 metres of climbing, with notable climbs including Toys Hill, Markbeech, Wych Cross, Twyford Lane, Kidds Hill (The Wall), Groombridge and Bayleys Hill.

The next edition takes place on Sunday 22 February 2026. Event HQ is Westerham Brewery on Beggars Lane in Westerham.

The next date for your diary is Wednesday 12 November, when entries will open for another of Flamme Rouge's events, the Kentish Killer.

Like the HOTA, the Kentish Killer has established itself as an annual rite of passage for cyclists across the southeast. Next year's edition takes place on Sunday 1 March 2026.
