The Jurassic Classic Sportive

Our Classic Series is designed with all riders in mind. A rebrand of the Old UKCE Jurassic Beast events comes the fresh new Jurassic Classic. If you’ve ridden here with us before you’ll know that there are a few punchy climbs. These new three routes are certainly no exception to that rule. 

There are a handful of steep climbs as you make your way along the Jurassic Classic route, with the highest point being a 1.8km, 7% average gradient section up along the Lulworth Range. With the efforts of the climbs comes the rewards of some spectacular coastal views down over Warbarrow and Kimmeridge Bay. As well as the well earned sweeping descents as you make your way around the Purbecks.

Keep your eyes open for the historical structures that line the routes as you’ll be passing by Lulworth and Corfe castle, make sure you don’t forget to smile for our photographers!

Of course you’ll be rewarded for all your efforts as you cross the finish line to receive a finishers medal, beer from Freedom Brewery and other goodies from our partners at Jimmy’s Iced Coffee and OTE sports.
