The Herefordshire Devil Sportive

All the routes will be taking in the gorgeous scenery of the Herefordshire hills, Welsh Borders and Mid Wales. The area is superb for cycling, with quiet roads and stunning views. The routes have not been changed from 2014. GPX downloads are available by clicking on the links at the bottom of the page. Please be aware that the routes may change depending any road works, hedge cutting etc.

Climbing:

• 56 mile route – 1126 metres
• 83 mile route – 1562 metres
• 133 mile route – 3092 metres

We will have one food stop for the short route, two for the medium route, and three for the long route. The food stops will be in village halls with toilets etc. We believe we have some of the best feed stations of any event in the UK. These will be supplied as always by The Drovers Rest restaurant in Llanwrtyd Wells – expect delicious home-made cake, flapjack, welsh cakes, and savoury options, tea and coffee, and there will also be a selection of products from High5. The event is not a race and the feed stations are a big part of the event experience. We are also able to cater for food alergies - please let us know when you complete the booking in procedure.

Muc-Off will have their excellent lube and bike care products at the feed stations as well as at the event HQ.

We upgraded our timing system to a transponder system during the summer of 2014. It has proved to extremely accurate and has not let us down one in 10 plus events. Therefore your time will available online as soon as you finish the ride. Full rider times will published on www.cyclosport.org a few days after the event.

As always our backup team will be out on the routes with fully trained first aiders and a selection of spares. If needed we have a broom wagon which will collect you and bring you back to the HQ. Contact numbers will be provided in the rider briefings.

Early bird entry closes on the 28th Feb, save yourself £5 on the normal entry fee. Entry completly closes on the 8th May at midnight.
