It’s the one many of you have been waiting for, The Flat 200 - we say flat, there are a couple of short sharp ‘speed bumps’ but nothing that you would call a Yorkshire Hill!

At just 3400ft over a 200 mile course this could be seen as the flatest 200 mile route around, aimed at the right time of year giving you the whole summer to train for it.

Setting off at 6.30am we have a steady warm up around the quiet flat roads south of York before heading over to the Trent bank, taking on some familiar roads before crossing the Trent at Keadby and heading north to take in the views of the Humber Bridge, twist back, following the foothills of the Lincolnshire Wolds (without climbing into them) before heading down to cross the Trent again and wind your way back up to Squires to achieve this big milestone.

Back at the HQ we will be waiting to present everyone who finishes with a medal to mark your achievement, a giraffe headwear to mark the occasion (everyone who enters gets one) and sit back and enjoy burger, chips and a well earned beer, all included in the entry fee.

As with all Sportive HQ events, you can expect the best support around, world class signage so you don’t have to think where to go and a great atmosphere.

With just 600 places on this one, it is strictly limited and sure to sell out early, so get booking and achieve that 200 mile ride in 2020.
