Discover the beautiful area surrounding Belvoir Vale by bike. Your adventure starts at Sutton Bonington Sports Centre. Riding East you will criss cross through the small villages in Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire before reaching the Vale of Belvoir. Here the short route riders will remain in the relatively flat Vale whilst the Long route riders will climb up to Belvoir castle before descending to Harby. The return route takes you back along the same route through Wysall, Costock and East Leake. We have created two fully sign posted routes leaving you free you to enjoy the ride. This route has a limited number of climbs - perfect for those new to cycling or who prefer a flatter route.

Startline Leicestershire includes refreshment stops on both routes. You can also enjoy drinks and freshly made sandwiches after the event. If you encounter any problems our mechanics and medical staff are ready to help. The event HQ at Sutton Bonington Sports Centre has great changing and showering facilities as well as plentiful parking. Friends and family are welcome.

Your ride will be timed and uploaded to our website. You have the option of claiming a finishers’ medal after completing your chosen distance. Startline Leicestershire is designed for anyone seeking a fun and memorable day out.
