Ripon Tour Sportive

Ripon Tour was created by Velo29 in 2014 to celebrate and use a lot of the route of the Tour de France Grand Depart.

Now re-energised by Yorkshire's hosting of the 2019 UCI World Championships, the Ripon Tour Sportive will take you on the roads used during the men’s race - and more importantly, the bits they missed out, which in our opinions are the best bits.

Take on the iconic climbs of Greenhow Hill, Kidstones, Buttertubs and Grinton Moor as you ride through some stunning Yorkshire scenery.
This is a sportive not to miss if you are a cycling fan as you follow in the wheels of some of the greats in modern cycling…’Shut Up Legs!’

Three choices of distance to suit riders of all abilities, with great support on well-signed routes so you can’t get lost, the Ripon Tour Sportive is a “must do” event for any serious cycling fan.
