Red Kite Events The Little Devil MTB

Brand new location for 2015. The Red Kite Events team have been riding in the Nant-yr-Arian area since 1992. The Trail Centre is a great place to ride, however we will be using some of the man made trails but also adventuring away from the man made trails for some awesome natural riding.

The Nant-yr-Arian/Nant-y-Moch area is huge. This is old-school mountain biking - big day out in big remote hills. All our event routes this year have been designed by Red Kite Events’ Neil (ex national downhiller and trials rider) so expect to be challenged. The route will be using a mixture of trail centre tracks, open moorland, single and double tracks. The routes will be crossing some big open hills so please come prepared for a tough day of riding.

As usual with our events the route will be very well marked, and we will also have some bail out options to cut the route short. The event will be a mass start at 10:30am from Nant-yr-Arian MTB Centre.

Our professional medical teams will be out on course looking after you all as well as the Red Kite Events broom wagon and quads.

We believe we have the best feed stations on any event in the UK. These will be supplied as always by The Drovers Rest restaurant and also High 5 – expect delicious home-made cake, flapjack, welsh cakes, and savoury options as well as the excellent products from our sponsor High 5. The event is not a race and the feed station is a big part of the event experience. Muc-Off, will also be providing wash/lube stations at the feed station and start/finish area. The feed station will be at approximately the halfway point.

When you arrive back at the finish the Cafe will be open for hot food to help you recover from your tough day out.
