For 2015 we are moving the event HQ to Coed Trallwm MTB Centre, the home of our popular Winter XC series and some rounds of our gravity style enduros.

The route steps up the technical challenges – expect tough, technical downhills and single tracks. All of our event routes this year have been designed by Red Kite Events’ Neil (ex national downhiller and trials rider) so expect to be challenged. The route will be using a mixture of the trail centre tracks at Coed Trallwm, open moorland trails, and single and double tracks in the Irfon Valley and Llynn Brianne area. This is big country riding (big hills, remote, possible harsh weather) so come prepared for what ever Mid Wales may through at us in early January. The route will be designed around the weather.

As usual with our events the route will be very well marked, and we will also have some bail out options to cut the route short if you need. The event will be a mass start at 10:30am from Coed Trallwm MTB Centre.

We will have two medic teams in ambulances as well as our trained first aiders out on course looking after you all as well as the Red Kite Events broom wagon and quads.

We believe we have the best feed stations on any event in the UK. These will be supplied as always by The Drovers Rest restaurant and also High 5 – expect delicious home-made cake, flapjack, welsh cakes, and savoury options as well as the excellent products from our sponsor High 5.

The event is not a race and the feed stations are a big part of the event experience. We are also able to cater for food alergies - please let us know when you complete the booking in procedure. Muc-Off, will also be providing wash/lube stations at the feed station and start/finish area.
