Ever wondered about that dark place just over the hills where you're told not to go?  It's the Otterburn ranges and now you have your chance to ride it; up and over one of Northumberland’s only Alpine style passes – and be timed doing it.  

One off permission has been given by the Ministry of Defence to include a cross ranges ride that also cuts above Elsdon, Hepple, Rothbury and Holystone.  

A fully supported ride with a t-shirt at the end and a real chance to get out into some of the most remote parts of the county.  Starting and finishing at Clennell Hall Country House, Alwinton, you can even stay the night before with some free camping, bunk rooms or in a hotel room.
