The original madhare sportive, The Mad March Hare returns for a 16th edition in 2024!

The 100km/66mile route meanders through quiet rolling country lanes with a few climbs to test those spring legs.

We return for a second time to the Transport Museum Wythall - a local attraction and charity that brings the history of transport to life for families and enthusiasts to enjoy.

The venue has plenty of space for us to add our Madhare flair, as well as all the seating and toilets we could wish for! The museum will be closed to the public during the event (so we have the place to ourselves) but that doesn't mean there won't be some classic buses and vehicles on show and even a miniature railway!

Car Parking

There will be exclusive off-site car parking available no more than 500m away from the venue. Tickets for parking are available through the entry form.

Entry includes:

  • Fully Signposted Route with GPX

  • Mechanical support

  • Medical support

  • Hill marshals at each 'highlighted climb' summit with water, jelly babies & gels

  • A well stocked feed stop with water, gels, snacks and our infamous cheese cobs

  • Free Hot Drinks at HQ and Feed stop

  • Timing chip
