Rapha has announced it is to partner with the inaugural Tour de 4, a charity cycling event launched by Sir Chris Hoy to challenge perceptions around living with stage 4 cancer and raise funds for cancer charities across the UK.

Tour de 4 takes place on 7 September 2025, starting and finishing at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow, UK. With four rides to choose from - a 92km road ride, a 60km option, a 1km family loop in the velodrome grounds and a static bike ride in the centre of the velodrome - Tour de 4 is designed to be inclusive for all abilities, especially those living with or affected by cancer.

Rapha is the official clothing partner of the Tour de 4 with a proportion of proceeds donated to charity. Rapha's Mobile Service Course will be parked up in Glasgow, providing coffee, support, and encouragement for riders on the day. The brand is rallying its community to get involved by signing up for the event or donating to cancer charities.

Sir Chris Hoy's Tour de 4 ride will take place in September in Glasgow.

Rapha has a history of supporting people living with cancer through the annual One More City campaign. Set up by Rapha Cycling Club (RCC) member Christine O'Connell, a keen cyclist who was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in 2018, One More City hosts rides in collaboration with Rapha worldwide. It has raised over £450,000 to date.

Fran Millar, Rapha CEO, said: "In cycling we have each other's backs, so there was never any doubt that Rapha and our community would stand with Sir Chris. He has displayed almost unimaginable courage since his diagnosis, but he has spent his life doing unimaginable things.

"As one of our greatest ever Olympians and now as a powerful voice for people living with stage 4 cancer, he keeps redefining what's possible. Tour de 4 is transforming how people understand cancer, and with it Sir Chris reminds us the value of every moment."

Sir Chris Hoy, Tour de 4's founder and six-time Olympic champion, said: "It is brilliant to have such an iconic brand on board and to know that Rapha's passionate community is behind us. Training and riding with other people is what it's all about - spreading the word and encouraging everyone to get involved, however that looks for them."

Registration for the Tour de 4 is now open with spaces available across all four rides at www.tourde4.com.
