Taking place in Kielder forest park near the English-Scottish borders of Northumberland, the Dirty Reiver is inspired by the Gravel Grinder race format originating in the American mid-west.

WIth on-site camping and a gravel expo, the Dirty Reiver attracts a packed field of gravel enthusiasts from across the UK and beyond.

For 2026, there will be three new routes across the Dirty Reiver's now standard distances - 200km, 135km and 65km. Entries are £70 for the shortest distance and £85 for the two longer distances.

The weekend will also see another impressive roster of event partners: Panaracer are headline sponsors once again, joined by SRAM, Lauf, Camelbak and Wahoo.

Plans are already afoot for a number of exciting on-route brand activations to add to the atmosphere, whilst the buzz in the event village will go up a notch. The scale of interest and increased planning efforts have led to the Focal Events team opening entries a few months earlier than previous years.
