We’re proud to announce that the 'Great Tunbridge Wells Bike Ride' is set to return for a third year running on Sunday 13th September 2015.
This event is raising money for ‘Canterbury Wheelchair Rugby‘
So stick a note in your diary, tell your friends, ride solo or make up a team entry.
The ride will start at Dunorlan events field (via Halls Hole Road) at 9:00am with registration starting at 8:00am and will cater for all levels of cyclist from novice to 'wasp chewing sportive flyers'. There will also be a single speed section for the one geared or retro bike fanatics.
The Routes
Entrants have a choice of 25, 55 or 85 mile routes. In both events riders will be given a time based on age and gender and can try for a gold, silver or bronze standard. All riders are given an electronically operated tag to wear and their times are recorded as they pass under the finish banner. However it is not a race and entrants have the choice of riding as slow or as fast as they wish. The route follows quiet roads and is clearly arrowed or marshalled. There will be mechanics, refreshments, physiotherapists and a host of supporters along with local businesses, to help make the day an exciting event.
