2020 Event Update - Covid Guidelines

The 2020 event will take place under the current government guidelines for Covid 19. The organisers have made several changes to the format of the event. There will be no mass start and no event day registration. All essentials will be posted out so entrants can simply arrive and start immediately.

There will be 3 sailing times 9am, 11am and 1pm - riders can choose a sailing time when they enter. It is then up to riders to start in time to meet their chosen sailing time. There will be 100 participants per boat and the boat is exclusively for the event, there will be no one else onboard.

There will be the usual route marking and marshals on the course. Tea and coffee will be available at the start, the Greenore terminal, a food stop in Greencastle and post event food at the finish area.
