Three stunning routes in the South Hams – Can you handle the HAMMER?

135 km ‘Jack Hammer’ / 2,600 m climbing, 105 km ‘Steam Hammer’ / 1,900 m and 65 km ‘Trip Hammer’ / 1,065 m. With solo and team timing standards!

The most spectacular, challenging and rewarding early season sportive in the UK! Starting from the beautiful resort town of Salcombe, the Hammer takes in a stunning tour of the breathtaking South Hams. An incredible event in its own right, it is a perfect springboard to European hilly and mountain sportives as well as a logical stepping stone for UK events like the Dartmoor Classic.

With Spring being the one day ‘classics’ season, we’ve added a distinctly continental flavour to the feed stations, which in addition to the usual energy products, drinks, and fruit, will also offer Belgian Liege waffles. If they don’t keep you going, nothing will!

Entries are open to individuals and teams (everybody gets an individual result and gold/silver/bronze standard, all team members will also receive the combined team time and combined team standard of gold/silver or bronze).
