Rapha have unveiled their Prestige rides for 2021, a global series of cycle tours with events in Australia, Korea, the USA, Japan, Taiwan, and various European locations including the UK's Peak District.

Prestige Rides see amateur teams compete to traverse some of the world's most beautiful locations, passing through set checkpoints and finishing together.

"Adventure, teamwork and resillience" is the series motto, with teams left to plot their own route to the finish.

The series is now in its fourteenth year, with past editions following the roads and trails of Johor, Malaysia, the lakes of Arkansas, USA and rolling hills of the Peak District among other locations.

While there is a competitive element to the rides, a sociable spirit prevails - as Rapha note, the rides "more often than not end in a well earned round of beers."

12 Rapha Prestige rides are scheduled across five continents throughout the year. The first planned event is in May, Rapha Prestige Sanjo in Niigata, Japan, when Rapha hope social restrictions will have eased.

"Expansive views, famous landmarks, winding paths and mountainous lines await those looking for a long-distance challenge with plenty of camaraderie," say Rapha.
