A Day in Hell - Manchester

For the Manchester edition, Rapha promise to bring "a taste of northern France to northern England" with a route that tours Cheshire's toughest cobbled sectors in honour of Paris-Roubaix.

The ride starts at 9:00am from the Rapha Clubhouse in St. Ann's Passage, with a 100km route featuring a mix of road and off-road sections. Expect around 750m of climbing, with three steep ones including the infamous Swiss Hill.

Just 75 places are on sale. Entry is priced £20 and includes a complimentary limited edition cap.

With the ride taking place the day before Paris-Roubaix (the clubhouse is closed on Sunday), there'll be no live screening of the race afterwards.

On the plus side, that leaves hardy hellraisers plenty of time to spin down to London for the next day's event...

A Day in Hell - London

With a new home at Herne Hill Velodrome, this year's Day in Hell takes place on Easter Sunday and promises a cracking ride finishing with a lap of the famous track.

Sign on opens at 8:45 with the ride starting at 9:30. The 100km route remains shrouded in mystery, but riders will be sent a GPX file to download on entry.

The ride will finish with a victory lap of the velodrome, followed by beer, frites and - assuming it still take place, hashtag coronavirus - a live screening of the finale of Paris-Roubaix.

Entry costs £30 with 230 places available.
