After a successful debut last year, the Sportive Cross series from Evans Cycles is back for 2015/16. This year will also see a new event launched in Leeds, the first Northern location for the series.

Sportive Cross offers participants something a little different to the traditional cycle sportive. Typically split 50:50 between on road and off road, the fully waymarked routes offer a truly multi-terrain experience. Off road sections are made up of bridleways, byways and local tracks making these routes ideally suited to cyclocross or adventure road bikes, but can be enjoyed equally on a mountain or hybrid bike.

Mark Gregory of Evans Cycles comments, "We're excited to be bringing the Sportive Cross Series back for the 2015/2016 sportive calendar with two brand new events. The events are a great way for people to try something different in the winter months, keep fit and most importantly, have some terrific fun!"

All events benefit from well-stocked High5 sponsored feed stations on every route. Sign up 8 weeks or more in advance and you'll also receive a free box of High5 goodies worth £10.
