The Cycle Sportive for the Yorkshire Dales

The White Rose Classic is the premier Yorkshire Dales sportive for road cyclists. Join Ilkley Cycling Club on Sunday 24, June, 2018.  Enjoy an epic adventure with support from the all-volunteer, Ilkley Cycling Club-run Event.  There are three routes of different lengths.  These routes offer a way for riders of all levels to experience the magnificent Yorkshire Dales scenery.

Get the chance to ride up hill and down dale in a sportive that covers some of the most spectacular scenery Britain has to offer.  You will earn the right to enjoy our Yorkshire-style hospitality.  Each of the three feed station features homemade sandwiches and other culinary treats.

The Tour de France came to tackle the same roads.  The Tour de Yorkshire has become an annual event, even ending the decisive 2018 Stage 2 in the White Rose Classic’s home town of Ilkley.  And in 2019, World Professional Road Racing Championships will be coming to Yorkshire. (They don’t get the sandwiches, however…)
