VIA Atelier, London's leading cycling concept store, is to hold a new gravel cycling event this June.
Billed as "London's first urban-connected gravel race", GRA-VIA will follow an enduro-style format with riders competing across eight timed segments over a 120km course.
The ride will start and finish at VIA's Kings Cross store on 22 June 2025, as part of the London Cycle Festival.

The course, which features 1,400m elevation, will head north out of the city to take in the rolling Hertfordshire countryside, connecting London's busy streets with the gravel tracks, wooded lanes and open farmland that lie beyond the city limits. With flowing bridleways and punchy climbs, it has been designed for speed and scenery in equal measure.
Riders will tackle eight timed 'race' Strava segments along the way. There will be special prizes for the fastest time through each sector and the quickest rider to complete all sectors will receive the main prize. Times will be calculated using Strava, with riders required to record their ride and upload it via the VIA Strava Club.
Premium prizes will be provided by VIA Atelier and a range of event partners including Oakley and Red Bull.
The route will be marked at key points, however some self-navigation will be required along the way, with the route and sector details sent to all riders two days before the event day.
Refuelling stations will be positioned along the route, including the pop-up Oakley Village halfway round, with a complimentary pizza party provided at the end of the ride at VIA Atelier.

GRA-VIA forms part of the VIA Criterium and The London Cycle Festival, which take place in and around the King's Cross, Coal Drops Yard area from 20-22 June 2025.
Entries for GRA-VIA are priced £30 and are now open on Eventbrite.
