Established in 1982, the Wicklow 200 is Ireland’s premier cycling sportive. The 40th edition will take place on Sunday the 11th of June 2023 starting in Bray, Co Wicklow.
The Wicklow 200 – and its partner event the Wicklow 100 Challenge - take in many of the most iconic climbs in Ireland’s ‘Garden County’ in an event that is among the most arduous and revered annual cycling events in the sportive calendar.
The ride takes place every June and attracts cyclists from many different countries. As the name suggests, the event covers over 200 kilometres around Co. Wicklow, a major international cycling destination.
The shorter Wicklow 100 Challenge takes place on the same day, and shares most of its route with the Wicklow 200.
2023 also sees the addition of a brand new 150k route - details to be confirmed early in 2023.
