Widely considered Yorkshire's 'Must Do' sportive, with three routes to choose from, catering for all abilities, you'll enjoy a stunning ride out into the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.
You will take in some of the iconic climbs which have made the Yorkshire Dales a cycling mecca for professional (2014 Tour de France, 2018 Tour de Yorkshire, 2019 World Championships) and amateurs alike.
The event has been run by Ilkley Cycle Club since 2012 when the club reformed. Our aim is to make the event attractive to all levels of sportive rider and an enjoyable day out in the dales for all supported by a friendly volunteers.

The event is not a race but a sportive for a wide range of riders, sanctioned by British Cycling. It features three distinct routes to suit your experience and riding style. You need to register for one of the routes, but should you wish to change route, you can do this up to 7 days before the event.
- If you downgrade from the ‘The Challenge’ or ‘The Epic One’, the event does not offer a refund on the price difference
- If you choose to upgrade from ‘The Short one’, you will be charged the difference based on full entry pricing.
All changes must be requested by Sunday 23rd June 2024 – we can not accept any change after this date
Online registrations via this website close once the event is full or at midnight on Sunday 23rd June 2024.
Subject to spaces entries can still be accepted until Friday 28th June 2024 via the event page on the British Cycling website. We cannot accept entries after this date or on event day
