With 2 distances available at 82km and 125km, this road sportive might not be the longest in terms of distance, but with plenty of ascent, it certainly offers a challenge to any seasoned riders, and newcomers alike.

Following many of the roads covered in the Tour of Britain’s visits to the area, the figure of eight route takes in Lower Broadheath, Malvern, Bromyard and the outskirts of Bewdley and Stourport. Featuring the wellknown climbs of The Wyche and Ankerdine Hill as well as several 20% gradients including the fearsome Wynniates Way.

Entry fee £25 until 31st Dec 2021, then £35 until final closing date of 12th April 2022.

Three fully stocked feed stations will be on offer along the long route. Riders can start from 08:30 on the day

The event supports St Richard’s Hospice, who provide free specialist palliative care for patients living with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses and supports their families.

Participants may make additional voluntary contributions as desired on the on-line entry page.

The is ample parking and refreshments are all on offer at the event base, the excellent University of Worcester Lakeside Campus, which has hosted numerous cycling, running and duathlon events in recent years.
