RAFA Rides 2022

The RAF Association is the charity that supports the RAF family. We believe that every generation owes a debt of gratitude to the RAF and their families. To protect the peace and safety we enjoy every day, they sacrifice the normal way of life most people take for granted. When someone in the RAF community needs help, they turn to us.

RAFA Rides 2022

RAFA Rides is a fundraising cycle challenge, supporting our welfare work for RAF serving personnel, veterans and their families. But it’s much more than that. It brings people together, wherever they are in the world, in the true spirit of RAF community.

Since our inaugural event in 2018, RAFA Rides has grown in success each year. In 2021, over 650 participants joined together, either at our real-life event in the East Midlands, or virtually from all over the world over a 24 hour period. Teams took part from Australia, USA, New Zealand, Middle East and Europe, as well as UK RAF stations who hosted their own events on base. All were connected virtually using live-streaming and social media. In 2020, we were collectively able to raise over £75,000, which helped us to adapt our services to the new challenges of COVID-19.
