POPPY RIDE for The Royal British Legion is a brand new multi-distance cycle event. As you pedal through the picturesque Staffordshire countryside, you will have a chance to push your ride capabilities alongside veterans from The Battle Back Centre.

Both 50km+ and 100km+ routes will start and finish at The Battle Back Centre, a facility that supports wounded, injured and sick Service personnel. The Centre exists to help people achieve their best possible recovery and return either to Service duty or to make a smooth transition to civilian life.

Why ride for us?

By signing up for Poppy Ride, you'll be helping The Royal British Legion to provide vital support and services like The Battle Back Centre.

The Battle Back Centre is an Army-led Centre that is funded and delivered by The Royal British Legion. Led by excellent coaching staff, they offer rehabilitation through activities including climbing, water-sports, caving, wheelchair basketball, clay shooting and archery.  The activities are challenging but aim to build camaraderie with others going through similar challenges both physically and mentally.
