The Haldon Heroic is a CX Sportive / Gravel Ride organised by Sportiva Events Ltd, in association with Just Events Ltd. All routes are fully signed and marshalled. We provide downloadable electronic routes compatible with most devides or you can follow the route on your mobile phone using the free RWGPS app
All participants must be pre-registered. Participants will be sent a Ride Pack, one week in advance of the event. This will contain all you need for the event day and will also give you your Rider Number and Start Time. COVID-19 safety measures are likely to still be in place. We will keep you informed of or COVID-19 plans.
There is a Feed Station on both the CX-Mega & CX-Medio routes that will operate on a 'takeaway service' - You will be able to stop and pick up ride refreshments but you will not be able to wait around or rest as we are required to prevent gatherings over 15 in number. The Feed Station is ajacent to a park where you can sit and relax or you can head off and choose your own spot for any rest period you require. There will be a catering van & coffee van at Exeter Racecourse for any post ride refreshments you may require.
There will be professional photographers out on the course, taking action photos as a memento of your day with us (photos are optional and not included as part of your entry fee).
There will also be a professional Sports Massage Therapist available at the HQ (optional service - not included as part of your entry fee) and a Bike Wash Bay (free to use - included with entry fee).
All finishers will receive our unique Haldon Heroic Medal.

The Haldon Heroic CX Sportive is a British Cycling registered & approved event so you can be confident that this event is well organised and that you will be fully supported from start to finish.
Prior to commencing the ride, you will be issued with a unique 'Rider Number' which must be attached to the handlebars of your bike. This identifies that you are participating in the event and is also used by the official photographers so you can quickly and easily find your photos. On the rear of your 'Rider Number' you will find our event support number which you can call at any time during the event should you require assistance.
We will have professional medics and mechanics available should you require their assistance and we also have support vans that can come and pick you up should you find you are unable to complete the course.
All routes are clearly signed and marshaled and we have electronic routes available to download in a variety of formats for those with GPS enabled bike computers.
There is a Feed Station at 25 miles (Chudleigh Knighton) on the Mega route. There is a Feed Zone at Luton - 20 miles for the Medio route and 36 miles for the Mega route. Refreshments will also be available at Exeter Racecourse at the finish.
