The Cool Cambridge is the final Sportive of 2018 for Long Leg Tours and is a fantastic season closer. As the weather starts getting colder be sure to wrap up and strap in as you take on the challenging route. The road surfaces on both routes are some of the best around. So, whether you are a serious cyclist, leisure cyclist or just looking to get into cycling, come along and join in.

We start the 100K route just outside the world-renowned city of Cambridge and head south into the open countryside of Cambridgeshire. We ride into Essex, passing through the town of Saffron Walden and along an excellent section of the 2014 Tour de France route, ending up in the picturesque village of Finchingfield. We head north, stopping at Steeple Bumpstead for a well-earned snack or two! Now feeling re-energised, we head into Suffolk and through the small town of Clare, before heading north-west and back to the finish. The route has an elevation of nearly 2,500ft and is constantly undulating over rolling hills.

We start the 50K route again just outside Cambridge and head south into the open countryside of Cambridgeshire. After a short while we head east towards the village of Withersfield. We then cross over the border into Suffolk and through the village of Great Bradley, before heading north-west back to the finish. This route has an elevation of just over 1,300ft and again is constantly undulating over rolling hills.
