The Ultimate Gravel/Adventure Challenge that will take you across the stunning North York Moors using public bridleway, forests and private tracks.

Do you have True Grit?

Described as being “One of the toughest adventure rides in the UK” by Cycling Plus, this is no walk (or ride) in the park. Prepare to be tested to your limits and beyond.

Yorkshire True Grit is based on the popular US Gravel Grinder format – but with a Yorkshire twist.

Choose from three distances: The Outlaw (60 miles); The Drive (40 miles); or The Stampede (20 miles).

Dates:

Yorkshire True Grit will take place from Friday 19th - Sunday 21st June 2020. The Outlaw and The Drive will be on Saturday 20th June and The Stampede will take place on Sunday 21st – the perfect leg loosener after a big day, or a challenge on its own.

Location:

The 2020 Yorkshire True Grit will start and finish between Sutton Bank and Boltby Bank. We're returning to your favourite part of the North York Moors! And that also means that in 2020 you have another new route to ride – we’ll take you places you didn’t even know existed, using a mix of gravel tracks and single track in a true test of endurance and adventure.

The Event HQ will be based in a field nestled between Sutton Bank and Boltby Bank. You can choose to camp with us (where the atmosphere will be!), or find some accommodation locally. You can book Event HQ camping with your entry; if you wish to stay elsewhere that's fine too, you can still come and have some food, enjoy the band etc.

Cost:

The entry fee for The Outlaw and The Drive is £48; and it’s just £27 for the Stampede. Enter an event for each day and you can do The Stampede for just £15.

Entry fee includes:

• Way marked route & GPX file
• Map of the route
• Feed station on all routes + additional water stops
• Finisher’s Award
• Yorkshire True Grit T-shirt (only one even if you ride both days; and these will only be available with orders placed before 19th May 2020)
• Mechanical support at the start and at the Feed Station
• Access to land that you are normally unable to ride!
