Bombtrack Gran Fonduro

The Bombtrack Gran Fonduro is a new event for gravel or adventure riders, touring the epic backcountry of the Tweed Valley. It’s a big day of fun riding with timed stages on forest roads, natural trails and paths, all connected by quiet, scenic Borders back roads. The timed stages have ups, downs, and everything else in-between. We guarantee it will take you some places you’ve never been.

It’s perfect for CX or gravel bikes, but XC mountain bikes will be good too.

The event is a friendly but adventurous ‘voyage of discovery’ with fun, self-reliance, endurance and adventure as the key themes.

There are two distances – approx. 100km or 60km, with several timed stages and overall time contributing to the results board. The event HQ is at the historic Traquair House, just outside Innerleithen – it’s Scotland’s oldest continuously inhabited house with its own grounds, maze and brewery.
