Hard to believe but Rapha celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.

As part of the celebrations, the trailblazing brand are hosting a special ride in Kendal, Cumbria.

Taking place on Saturday 20 June, the Continental Ride takes inspiration from the Rapha Continental Yorkshire from 2014.

"The Rapha Continental formed the basis of much of Rapha's vision for road riding; groups of friends taking on testing courses in beautiful places, exploring on two wheels what would be impractical any other way," explain Rapha.

"In honour of Rapha's twentieth anniversary, we're giving riders the chance to ride a route in homage to the Yorkshire Continental, leaving from Kendal and spinning out into the remote and idyllic western Dales."

Two routes are on offer, with the long option featuring 2600m of climbing over 170km.

It's a challenge, but entrants needn't worry: "As it's honouring (our) big birthday you'll be well looked after," say Rapha, "with support vehicles, a broom wagon and two control points with food and coffee."

There's a party at the finish too, with a meal, film screenings and special edition kit customisation all included in the entry price.

Entry is priced £80 and we expect places to sell out for this one.
