The date is drawing near for this year's Tour of Tweeddale sportive, a popular annual ride based out of Peebles just south of Edinburgh.
This year's Tour takes place on Sunday 27 August 2023.

As with previous years riders can choose from two scenic routes: The Classic and the infamous Double Talla.
The 50-mile Classic route remains a popular choice, taking in the challenging Talla climb and picturesque countryside with two feed stops at Tweedsmuir and Cappercleuch by St Mary's Loch.
For riders seeking a bigger challenge, the 93-mile Double Talla fits the bill: riders depart from Peebles over Talla, down past the Grey Mares' Tail to Moffat, over the Devil's Beeftub and repeat the Talla climb for a second time to the feedstop at Cappercleuch by St Mary's Loch. Rested and refuelled, it's back to Peebles via the Paddy Slacks climb.
Entry for the Tour of Tweeddale is priced £35 with proceeds helping support youth activities at Peebles Cycling Club who organise the event.
Registration opens at 7.30am, and closes at 8.45am. The last departure for Double Talla will be at 8.30am, and for The Classic by 9am.
Registration will be at Station Road Car Park, Edinburgh Road, Peebles, which is adjacent to the start. The ride finishes on Tweed Green, Peebles - next to the swimming pool in case you fancy a post-ride dip!
Entries close Sunday 20 August.
