Fancy winning a trip on a Haute Route cycling weekend?

With this weekend's Haute Route Dolomites cancelled because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the Haute Route team have come up with the Dolomites Strava Challenge instead.

The challenge is a toughie: Haute Route want you to climb 3300m (10,827ft) in a single ride.

That's the same elevation that riders would have faced on the Queen Stage of this year's Haute Route Dolomites. Starting in stunning Cortina d'Ampezzo, the stage started with the winding switchbacks of the Passo Giau, before taking the northern route to the iconic Dolomites climb of Tre Cime di Lavaredo.

Passo Giau was among the climbs on this year's Haute Route Dolomites. Match the elevation to win a trip next year.

The challenge can be completed indoors (eg on Zwift) or outdoors, and entrants may ride solo or in a group.

The competiton runs this weekend, from 12:00am Friday 12 June until 11:59pm Sunday 14 June in your local time zone.

All those who complete the challenge will be entered into a draw, with a chance of winning a 3-day trip on a Haute Route weekend in 2021.

Entry is free; all you have to do is fill out an entry form, with a link to your qualifying activity on Strava, on the entry page: info.hauteroute.org/haute-route-dolomites-challenge.
