Entries are now open for L'Etape Spain, a brand new sportive from the organisers of the L'Etape du Tour series.

With coronavirus forcing postponement from its original July date, the first edition will take place in Villanueva del Pardillo, near Madrid on Saturday 21 November 2020.

Whereas L'Etape du Tour usually takes place during the Tour de France, the inaugural L'Etape Spain will be held two weeks after the finish of this year's La Vuelta.

Riders will be offered a choice of two distances: 161km with 2,600m climbing, or the "Lite" at 116km with 1,150m climbing.

Entry starts at €65, with packages including 2 nights accommodation and breakfast priced from €215.

An optional charge of €11 secures your entry fee in the event of not being able to attend - perhaps a useful precaution amid the ongoing uncertainty surrounding coronavirus.
