BBC Children in Need returns to our screens tonight, with the annual charity fundraiser aiming to break last year's total of £60.7 million. And this year, cyclists can chip in by doing what they do best - racking up some mileage on Strava!

The Rickshaw Challenge invites cyclists to log 50 miles on the bike between 10th October and 21st November.

You can ride outdoors or on an indoor trainer, so long as you track your distance on Strava - the popular social media platform for athletes. If you don't yet have Strava, it's available as a free app for iPhone and Android.

There's even the chance to win a Genesis bike when you take part.

To get involved, simply join the challenge on Strava and set up a fundraising page so friends and colleagues can back your efforts.

Check out the video below for a brief summary. All set? Head over to the challenge website to sign up.

Children In Need starts on BBC1 on Friday 16 November from 7.30pm to 10pm before resuming after the news and running from 10.40pm until 2.00am.

This year's presenters include Tess Daly, Graham Norton, Mel Giedroyc, Ade Adepitan, comedian Rob Beckett and pop stars Rochelle and Marvin Humes.
