Warm days in the saddle require lightweight kit, and this summer is certainly providing plenty of warm days. With perfect timing Leicestershire brand Velobici have launched their new Jude collection for men and women, which uses lightweight material designed to perform in the sort of hot summer conditions we're currently enjoying.
The Jude collection includes a jersey and bibshorts. Velobici's founder Chris Puttnam says: "The warmest weather can be tough on style. With Jude we've maintained the Vélobici look our customers love, with a fabric created to excel in the hottest conditions."
The lightweight Jude jersey is available in silver (white) and "biscotto" colourways, and features a full-length zipper with 'Vélobici' logo jacquard detailing to the side panels and underarm for added ventilation. It is finished with embroidered Jude and VB logos to the chest and reflective trim to the rear pocket and hem.
The matching Jude bib shorts feature Velobici's new bio-ceramic VB Pad, which Velobici say uses "Foam Carving Technology" to remove any unnecessary material from the sides and smooth out variation between foam densities. The pads are covered with bio-ceramic anti bacterial fabric that incorporates clay minerals, which Velobici claim "promote oxygenation, freshness and thermoregulation while increasing the flow of blood and reducing negative effects caused by intense exertion."
Flatlock seams and a low-cut front add comfort and convenience, and the bibs feature VB's trademark embroidered logo to the thigh and rear.
The Jude range is available to buy now with jerseys priced £175, bibs £180 and sets of jerseys and bibs at £310.
