Looking for a cycling challenge this spring? The Cornwall Tor sportive offers a great day's riding along the wild Atlantic coast, with a challenge (and a pasty) for cyclists of all appetites...

Based in Wadebridge, the Cornwall Tor has got to be one of the most dramatic and picturesque sportives on the calendar. And this year it's on the first Bank Holiday weekend in May, so you get Monday off too!

Spectacular views await on the Cornwall Tor.

Three routes are on offer, the Ultra, Chapeau and Espresso, with distances and routes designed to suit sportivistes of all levels.

The Ultra route takes in the old RAF airfield runway with views to Brown Willie. Enjoy spectacular sea views along the rollercoaster North Atlantic coastline, with some great climbing but also some wonderful, free-flowing descents.

Notable landmarks include the GCHQ Radar station just north of Bude, the wooded Coombe Valley climb; surfing at Widemouth Bay and the particularly steep Millook climb. Crackington Haven, Boscastle, Tintagel and Port Isaac also feature along the way, while the shorter Chapeau and Espresso routes also take in a reduced selectuion of local delights and challenges to provide a wonderful day out on the bike for everyone.

A ride in Cornwall wouldn't be complete without a pasty, so we've again teamed up with local baker, Malcolm Barnecutt, to provide delicious pasties, sandwiches and cakes at the feed stations to sit alongside HIGH5 sports nutrition.

Back at HQ, the Wadebridge showground provides spaces for motorhomes and camping, with hot showers and toilets on-site as well as plentiful parking.

Enter the event before the end of Sunday 6 March and you'll receive a 750ml HIGH5 bottle filled with sports nutrition (worth over £10 rrp) when you cross the finish line. All finishers also receive a Cornwall Tor medal and a cotton t-shirt.
