This year the sportive will be held in aid of Women v Cancer , which is made up of 3 charities, Ovarian cancer, Breast cancer and Jo's cervical cancer trust, MacMillan support and Carlton Lodge bursary fund.
The sportive is aimed at all ladies who are just starting out on Sportives or ladies who do Sportives regularly. We will have 3 routes:
38 ml - Lovely route with a couple of hills. This would be suitable for anyone who is interested in doing their 1st sportive.
60 ml - The route will have a bit of everthing, hills and lovely views and parts to test yourself on.
100 ml - This will be a challenging route for those who want to push themselves further. This will suit the more experienced rider.
There will be a medal for each participant and more importantly a cake when you finish your ride :)
There will be a justgiving page set up for the event to help raise money for Women v Cancer, MacMillan support and Carlton Lodge bursary fund.

This will be the 5th Yorkshire Lass sportive from Carlton Lodge Activity Centre, Thirsk, Norrh Yorkshire.
We want to encourage ladies to get on their bikes doing Sportives, We have something for all ladies who want to take part in a sportive, be it your 1st or if you have done lots of sportives.
The routes will have manned feed stations and mechanical support, don't worry about if you have no one to ride with, we will have an active Facebook group for the event so you can get chatting to other ladies on there too. We will have marshals on some parts of the routes and the routes will be well signposted.
Accommodation or camping will be available at the event. HQ
