Welcome to the York Rally

The York Rally is a friendly family cycling event on York’s Knavesmire which has been held almost every year since 1945. Whether you cycle already or not, please do come along, bring the family and have a go! Entry, parking and almost all activities are free!

The York Rally is also famous as the UK’s historic gathering for cycle tourers, grass-roots racers and vintage cycle experts – and many more enthusiastic and friendly people who just love cycling and are happy to share their passion.

There’s camping on site for the many visitors who stay for the whole weekend – book early for the lowest prices! And since our new all-volunteer team revived the Rally in 2015, many Rally-goers have joined our supporters’ club, the Friends of York Rally or donated via JustGiving.
