There are 2 routes available on the day, the longer route is 100km, whilst the shorter route is to 45km. So you have two things to decide choose how long your crusade can be and how much fun you can handle!
Passing historical towns with castles like Maxstoke with its 14th century moat , or Tamworth with its Norman castle overlooking two rivers, and going through historical sites like Market Bosworth, site of the Battle of Bosworth in 1485, which heralded the start of the Tudor Dynasty when Henry Tudor defeated King Richard III. In-between you will pass the Heart of England as you go through Meridan the recognised Centre of England and then through meandering countryside and farmland on quiet roads
The route contains something for everyone with a number of rolling hills and enjoyable descents and offers a challenge whatever your ability with many opportunities for a well deserved stop at the aid stations. A really rewarding ride for all!

At your morning arrival at the Centre

The event will start with the car park opening at 7.00am. Registration will open at 7.10am registration will close at 9.30am. The First cyclist will leave the start line at 8.00am.
The routes will be
• Route one. Pilgrims Route 45KM. One aid Station
• Route two. Knights Route 100KM. Two Aid Stations There will be aid stations along the route which will have sports drink and also food available. There locations are to be confirmed.
There will also be a sag wagon and a mobile mechanic on course.On your arrival back at the Water Ski Centre hot food will be served.
