Based at Lowther Castle near Penrith, this great loop explores some of the best areas of the Northern Lakes to ride a bike with challenging climbs, breathtaking descents, lake shores, mountains, wild ponies, hidden roman roads and stunning scenery throughout.
Quiet country lanes are followed throughout and some little known gems are ridden where you are guaranteed to see more wild ponies than vehicles.
Once back at the finish, feel free to relax and explore the historic castle and its grounds.
