There are none harder than former professional and World Tour Directeur Sportif Sean Yates who now endorses The Spring Classic. Given Sean's experience on the road with the top riders and teams this makes the Sean Yates Spring Classic a must ride event and your chance to ride with the legend himself.

The pro riders spend their winters targeting the Spring Classic races, generally acknowledged as being an early indication of a riders form. But you don’t have to go to Belgium to do that because the Sean Yates Spring Classic is held on the roads of Sussex across the very terrain that Sean used to develop his legendary form.

Bradley Wiggins relied on Sean’s experience as he seems to know every climb in Europe and he now challenges you to take on some of the finest climbs that East Sussex has to offer.

Sean says "Don't let the modest 64 miles deceive you, this is a challenging ride over undulating terrain that many have described as brutal. The route rolls out from Herstmonceux into the Sussex Weald and the Ashdown Forest, through 64 miles of my very own training ground."

The Sean Yates Spring Classic is the only sportive to offer the full "Belgian Experience" with a hot feed station, celebratory bottle of Belgian beer and a Spring Classic finishers medal. This is an event to enter early as it is sure to be fully subscribed.
