Discover Nottinghamshire’s country lanes and challenging hills. This classic ride starts just outside the historic town of Southwell, where you will see the 19th Century Minster and the Victorian work house. Riding past the river Trent you will uncover interesting climbs and gentle descents. We have created three fully sign posted routes leaving you free to enjoy the ride. This event is perfect for new and experienced cyclists with a variety of route lengths to choose from.
Southwell Cycle Tour includes refreshment stops throughout your ride (however please note there is no feedstation on the 33 mile route). You can also enjoy a hot dinner, such as fish and chips at the Racecourse after completing the event. If you encounter any problems our mechanics and medical staff are ready to help. The event HQ at Southwell Racecourse has great facilities and plenty of parking. Friends and family are welcome to support you and enjoy the atmosphere on the day.
Your ride will be timed and uploaded to our website. You also have the option of being awarded a finishers’ medal after completing your chosen distance. The Southwell Cycle Tour is designed for anyone seeking a fun and memorable day out.
