A Devil of a Challenge.
Based around the Sarn Helen Trail and the legend featured in the Mabinogion called ‘The Dream of Macsen Wledig’ this ride takes place entirely on the road. Two routes are offered of 65 miles but it is really about the 107 miles with nearly 10,000 feet of climbing taking in the Devil's Staircase and the Devil's Elbow.
The Sportive starts and finishes in Neath close to the remains of the Roman Fort built at the Roman Garrison of Nidum.
