The Ross Tiger offers riders a choice of two great routes. After a testing climb out of Waltham and into the edge of the Wolds, this shared start then skirts along the top of the Wolds with some fantastic views before arriving at the split point at Alford. The 100km has a relaxing route back to the HQ taking in views of the coast, whereas the 100 mile route darts two more times across the Wolds with some fantastic climbs and scenery.

SportiveHQ like to feed you well. At registration they give you a large flapjack from ‘Dorset Flapjacks’ and a pack of Haribo. Once you get to the first feed station, there’s a packed lunch, a selection of teas or coffee and plenty of SIS electrolyte. If you’re on the 100 mile route the second feed station has teas and coffee, cake, fruit more Haribo and SIS, so you should be able to stay the distance!

The start HQ has plenty of car parking space, changing and shower facilities and will feature some great local cycling stands as well as refreshments from the in house cafe, on returning to HQ after the ride, the bar will be open if you fancy a pint! If you’ve never cycled in this part of Lincolnshire, these routes will certainly show you that Lincolnshire definitely isn’t flat and has some great scenery and fantastic views. With an entry fee of £22.50 it's a great value event.

New for 2018 with a £15.00 entry is the ‘short’ route of 25 Miles, this route doesn’t have a feed stop on the road but the price includes hot food and a cuppa on return.

Photographs will be available after the event, free of charge courtesy of Adie’s Photography.

The Ross Tiger 100 is produced by Sportive HQ in partnership with the Lindsey Roads Club.
