The Pendle witches Vintage Velo is in its forth year ,there are two routes The Trial and The Cauldron as set out below.

"THE Trial"
A challenging 53 mile circular route through Lancashire fells , Ribble Valley, and Trough Of Bowland taking in the climbs of Whalley Heights ,Nick O' Pendle and Waddington Fell all used in previous Tour of Britain Races.
Wanted Classic and Vintage cycles (modern most welcome if you cannot find a piece of steel) wool ,acrylic,leather skull caps ,Brookes Saddles ride it like it was before carbon and lycra.
All proceeds go to Stepping Stones Childrens Hospice Haslingden and Cancer Reasearch all of your entrance fee goes to charity.

Both Rides Start from the Craven Heifer Pub Burnley Road Rawtenstall .Free pie and peas to all riders plus charity raffle and entertainment its a full day if you want it to be so get a designated driver.
"THE CAULDRON"
A tough circular route of 13 mile ideal for beginner ,novice but still has two climbs one over Crown point (used in stage one of the 2010 Tour of Britain) and "Burnley Brew" a steady climb that tops out at Clowbridge Resevoir and then you freewheel for aprrox two mile back to the Pub.
