Look Marmotte Granfondo Valais - Tour des Stations

Imagine a cycling enduro in the heart of the Swiss Valais, offering an exceptional sportive challenge linking the region’s ski stations in a spectacular environment. 

New from the organisers of the legendary Marmotte sportive, the so-called Tour des Stations will become a reality on 11 August 2018 consisting of three different courses following the concept of the Look Marmotte Granfondo Series. Choose between distances of 220km, 130km or 50km - and the corresponding altitude differences of 7,400m, 4,500m or 2,200m. The courses feature hors categorie climbs like the mythical Croix-de-Cœur, topping out at 2,174 metres with its last six kilometres on gravel.

In co-operation with the ski stations of Verbier, Crans-Montana, Nendaz, Ovronnaz, Anzère, Vercorin, Nax, Saint-Martin, Hérémence, Les Collons, Veysonnaz, La Tzoumaz, Conthey and Martigny, the Tour des Stations crosses through the enchanting countryside of the Valais, its mountainous vineyards, picturesque nature, authentic villages and internationally renowned stations. 

The Tour des Stations has the ambition to become the reference of Swiss granfondo races, akin to the Marmottes Alpes in France and the Dolomites Marathon in Italy. Let’s hit the road !
